Dog Walking and Care
Dogs need exercise to stay healthy and happy. A walk provides stimulating exercise and fresh smells and sounds that activate their interest and curiosity, providing them with an essential mental and physical workout.
Sometimes seniors and busy working adults can’t provide that important daily walk for their dogs. That’s where Acti-Kare can help. We’ll schedule a caregiver to walk your dog, and provide other basic care while they are there, such as watering, feeding and cleaning up. Just let us know what your dog’s daily routine is, and we’ll help you make sure they are happy and well cared for.
Help with Pet Care at Home
Some of our clients just need help with the daily chores of pet ownership, and that’s fine. Our services can be hourly or for a full day. We can arrange daily care, or be on call when you need us. We can arrange for longer care as well, whatever is needed. Talk with your Acti-Kare service provider and let him or her know where you need help.

“We met with John Moisa in order to arrange for care for my father. John was a pleasure to work with and talk to. My parents live in a remote area and Acti-Kare was still able to staff us when other companies were not able to or not willing to staff in that location. He came to the house and met with us to explain the services they offered and to help us decide on the necessary care for my father. He was respectful and listened to all our concerns and addressed them thoroughly. We did choose to hire Acti-Kare for 4 hours a day. However, my father had to go into the hospital so the services were not needed at that time. John contacted me several times and seemed to have genuine concern for my dad. After a couple weeks in the hospital we determined that we would need 8 hours a day when dad got out of the hospital. John was able to assure us that he would be able to staff that without any problem. Shortly after that the hospital staff told us that we would need 24 hour a day care when dad would be discharged and again, John was concerned for my father and was happy to help us arrange that care. Sadly, my dad passed away before he could return home. John was understanding and offered his condolences.
