Kikema Workman, Owner and Area Director for the Northeast Ohio market, began her care career in 2015 by starting Cherubim’s Adult Care Facility. Despite a decade of experience in healthcare her expansion plans were limited. However, after the unexpected death of her son, Eddie Lee, in 2020, Kikema’s focus shifted. One of Eddie’s dreams was to start a business where he could care for others. It was in his honor K&E Homecare DBA Acti-Kare franchise was purchased. Inspired daily by his strength and compassion, Kikema was emboldened to reach a larger community based on the mission statement: “When you can’t be with your loved one – we can.”
