Nicole Puorro, RN is the Owner/Operator of Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care. Nicole has had a deep passion for helping others throughout her life. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a career in nursing so she would be able to care for those in need.
Throughout her extensive career in nursing, she felt like the elderly didn’t have the sufficient level of care needed to the standards they deserved. This led her to embark on her mission to establish a means for the elderly in Northern Pittsburgh to have access to those standards in the comfort of their own homes. Nicole is a Pittsburgh native who is excited to give back to her community. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
