Robert and Kelley Parrish have partnered with Acti-Kare healthcare and have been in the medical field for a combined 40 years. They met while working in the emergency room together and were married fifteen years ago. They have seen many changes in healthcare over the last 20 years affected by a growing demand and insurance reimbursements.
They both entered the medical field in attempts to make a difference in the care people received and making the patients and family members more at ease. With this growing population and decrease in insurance reimbursements largely affecting the healthcare field, the focus seems to have shifted to streamlining healthcare and the care has been taken away in some cases. Together, they want to make a difference in their community and bring their knowledge in a direction that will help individuals receive non-medical care in the comfort of their own home.
Robert and Kelley have 3 boys, they are members of First United Methodist Church of Albany and have been very active in the community for the past 20 years. They are excited to bring their years of medical experience to you and your family member.
Robert has lived in the surrounding area for 45 years and has created a large network of family and friends through his 20 years of medical experience. He looks forward to incorporating this vast knowledge and partnership into a very personal home care experience. By partnering with Acti-Kare he will have the opportunity to network in our community and give back to so many that have supported him and his family throughout the years.
Kelley is originally from South Florida and has now lived in this area for over 20 years. During her years here she has established a working relationship with most of the physicians in the community. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgia Southwestern and has utilized it extensively in many different areas of patient care. Partnering with Acti-Kare she will give back to the community by providing her medical knowledge and professional level of care that you would expect your loved one to receive.
